Upon examination of the briefs and record, this panel unanimously agrees that oral argument is not needed. Fed. R. App. P. 34(a). James M. Jourdan, Jr., a Michigan inmate, filed a civil rights action under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 in which he claimed that the named prison officials acted to deny him certain first amendment rights. The district court eventually entered summary judgment for all defendants and this appeal followed. The parties have briefed the issues, Jourdan acting without counsel.
